The Quality Assurance Unit of AUTH (MODIP) carries out a periodic internal evaluation of the programme, as part of the University's Internal Quality Assurance System and in line with national regulatory guidance.

The periodic internal evaluation.

To ensure and improve the quality of the programme, the Quality Assurance Unit of AUTH (MODIP) carries out a periodic internal evaluation. The evaluation operates within the framework of the University's Internal Quality Assurance System and follows the instructions and directions of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE).

About HAHE
The Hellenic Authority for Higher Education is the independent national body responsible for quality assurance and accreditation of Greek higher education institutions and their study programmes. Its guidance applies across the Greek university system, and AUTH's internal procedures align with it.

Obligations of administrators and teachers.

The administrative bodies and teaching staff of the programme are required to participate in the full set of procedures established by MODIP. These procedures cover the internal and external evaluation, and the accreditation, of both study programmes and academic units.

Internal evaluation
Periodic self-assessment of the programme against the criteria of the AUTH Internal Quality Assurance System.
External evaluation
Independent review by external experts, conducted under the framework set by HAHE.
Programme accreditation
Formal accreditation of the study programme by HAHE, on the basis of the internal and external evaluation findings.
Academic unit accreditation
Accreditation of the participating Schools as academic units, following the same regulatory framework.
