In context

Mediterranean cost, European quality.

The €6,000 annual tuition sits at the lower end of the European range for English-taught Bachelor's programmes — and well below the UK or US equivalents. We're a Greek public university, and our tuition reflects that.

Comparison figures are indicative ranges for international students on English-taught Bachelor's-level programmes (2024–2025). Tuition varies significantly by institution, country, and discipline. Sources: official university websites and national statistics.

Scholarships

Six pathways to reduced tuition.

The Programme operates six distinct scholarship and fee-relief pathways. Most are awarded by Curriculum Committee decision based on academic, social, or financial criteria. Some can be combined.

/ 02
Performance-based

Excellence scholarship

50% off the following year's tuition (€3,000)

Awarded to the student with the highest average grade across all courses each academic year, provided they completed all courses within the prescribed time. In the event of a tie, the scholarship may be awarded to multiple students.

/ 03
Recognition

Excellence prizes

Honorary distinction or cash prize

Awarded by the Curriculum Committee to students who demonstrate outstanding performance. Includes a top-first-year award (overall performance and attendance consistency) and a best-graduate award at the end of the programme.

/ 04
Humanitarian

War zones & international protection

Full or partial exemption from tuition

For students from war zones or under international or subsidiary protection status. Awarded by justified Curriculum Committee decision based on documented social and humanitarian criteria.

/ 05
Need-based

Social scholarship

Reviewed case by case

For candidates or students facing serious financial difficulties, health issues, loss of a parent, or other long-term crisis. Awarded by the Programme Committee following review of an application and accompanying supporting documents.

/ 06
Work-in-kind

Reciprocal scholarship

Partial tuition exemption in exchange for support work

Awarded in exchange for specific work supporting the Programme — library assistance, administrative support, research project assistance, or other activities defined by the Curriculum Committee. Duration and content are clearly specified at the time of award.

Decided by the Curriculum Committee, on documented criteria.
All scholarships are awarded at the Curriculum Committee's discretion, based on the Programme's financial capabilities and cash reserves. Specific conditions, obligations and rights for each scholarship are defined per award. Some pathways can be combined; others are mutually exclusive — talk to admissions if you'd like to understand which apply to your situation.
